New FAST Channels From NBC, Bravo, E!, Telemundo, and More Coming Soon

NBCUniversal has confirmed a number of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) linear channels from popular networks, including NBC, Bravo, E!, and Telemundo, among others, are set to become available in July.

The FAST sector of the streaming market continues to be big business and a good way for existing networks and channels to expand their reach. Advancements in technology are also now making it possible for brands to quickly launch their own FAST channels, adding to the vast number of free linear channels that are already available.

NBCUniversal already offers a number of FAST channels, including NBC News Now, Today All Day, Dateline 24/7, and LX, and the number is set to grow even more. This new selection of FAST linear channels will make it possible for viewers to watch popular NBCUniversal titles and programming at no additional cost.

The new channels also span various categories and genres, including networks, news, sports, fandom, Spanish-language, and Universal-branded channels.

Below are some examples of the new NBCUniversal FAST channels and what viewers can expect:

Network Entertainment channels:

• Bravo Vault: From “Shahs of Sunset” to “Flipping Out,” Bravo Vault immerses you in all the high-sheen content and drama you love with our rotating content library.
• E! Keeping Up: Keep up with each breakup and breakdown from the first family of reality TV, the Kardashian/Jenners. The E! Keeping Up Vault has the episodes and spin offs that created an empire. Relive it all now.
• Million Dollar Listing Vault: Dig deep into the many seasons of “Million Dollar Listing” from LA to NY, SF to Miami! Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” vault introduces you to the best of real estate and all the deals and drama.
• Oxygen True Crime Archives: Oxygen True Crime Archives is your home for deep dives into infamous cases and binge-watching original series. True crime, all day, every day.
• Real Housewives Vault: Revisit the Real Housewives that launched the iconic franchise, showcasing the glitz, glamour, and drama of the reality show’s wealthy female stars.
• SNL Vault: See your favorite characters, sketches, and hosts in an array of “Saturday Night Live” clips.
• Top Chef Vault: Bravo’s “Top Chef” Vault has a rotating library to catch up on and learn the latest in sous-vide, gastronomy and more from the ultimate food competition show.

News channels:

• American Crimes: Explore the dark side of the American dream and life behind bars, featuring award-winning series “American Greed” and “Lockup.”

Sports channels:

• GolfPass: GolfPass brings together thousands of lessons from the game’s biggest instructors, exclusive series, GOLF Channel news and features, and much more.

Telemundo Channels:

While a good amount of the same content is already available to watch through NBCU’s Peacock streaming service, this deal will see all of the new FAST linear content offerings becoming available to Amazon Freevee and Xumo Play users. Unlike Peacock, both Amazon Freevee and Xumo Play are free-to-use streaming services.

As Xumo Enterprise is actually powering the distribution of NBCU’s new FAST channels portfolio on third-party services, it is to be expected that the entire collection will become available on other services and platforms in the future.
