NFL Sunday Ticket has now increased in price by $30, taking the minimum cost up to $379 a season. The price increase isn’t a surprise considering YouTube previously confirmed the cost of a subscription would increase this month.

Since launch, an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube TV has remained priced at $349 a season, or $87.25 when paying monthly over four months. With another $30 now added to the price, new subscribers through YouTube TV now pay $379 a season, or $94.75 a month over four months.

If signing up through YouTube, the additional $30 increases the price to $479 a season, or $119.75 a month over four months.

YouTube also offers a student version of NFL Sunday Ticket and it looks like the student plan is unaffected by this price change. As a result, students can still sign up to NFL Sunday Ticket for just $199 a season.

A student subscription does require the new subscriber to verify their student status to lock in the cheaper price. As a student subscription doesn’t renew each year automatically, students will also need to reverify each year to maintain the lower price.

Another notably difference between the student and standard NFL Sunday Ticket subscription is that student subscriptions only allow NFL Sunday Ticket to be streamed on one device at a time. This makes the student version not a good option for those looking to share the subscription and cost over a season.
