Those considering signing up to Paramount+ to watch Mayor of Kingstown (or any other show or movie) can currently take advantage of a one-month free trial. Generally speaking, the Paramount+ free trial is only for seven days so this is a good way to test out the service over a longer period of time and make sure it is the right subscription service before having to make the first payment.
Paramount+ is a popular option for those that want access to shows and movies from a variety of networks owned by ViacomCBS. At $4.99 per month, the “Essentials” subscription is the cheapest way to start streaming Paramount+. However, the service also offers a $9.99 per month “Premium” tier that provides an ad-free streaming experience, the ability to download shows for offline viewing, and the option to watch a local live CBS station.
Regardless of the plan chosen, subscribers get access to the first seven days for free to test out the service. However, there is currently the option to extend the free period to one month by using the “mayor” promo code. Simply head over to the Paramount+ website, sign up as normal, and enter the promo code after clicking on the “Have a coupon code?” option on the payment method page.
With the promo code entered, consumers will see the usual “1 week free” trial offer change to “1 month free.” As the code works for both the Essential and Premium Paramount+ plans, it might be worth an individual or household signing up to the Premium plan and taking advantage of the additional benefits during the extended free trial. However, they will need to ensure they cancel Paramount+ before the free period ends or switch to the Essential plan if they don’t want to continue subscribing at the higher $9.99 per month rate.
The promo code has been made available in celebration of the new Mayor of Kingstown crime drama series starring Jeremy Renner. Of course, if Major of Kingstown is not exactly your sort of thing, there are plenty of other shows, movies and exclusives available to watch during the extended Paramount+ free trial.
