Pluto TV has added 17 Fox local news stations to its lineup. The new additions provide users in various locations throughout the U.S., including Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., with access to even more live and breaking news content and programming.
Of the 17 Fox news stations being added in August, 16 have become available today. The last, FOX 6 Milwaukee, is due to go live on Pluto TV later this month.
The new Fox local stations include:
- FOX 5 Atlanta
- FOX 7 Austin
- FOX 32 Chicago
- FOX 4 Dallas
- FOX 2 Detroit
- FOX 26 Houston
- FOX 11 Los Angeles
- FOX 6 Milwaukee
- FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul
- FOX 5 New York
- FOX 35 Orlando
- FOX 29 Philadelphia
- FOX 10 Phoenix
- FOX 2 San Francisco
- FOX 13 Seattle
- FOX 13 Tampa Bay
- FOX 5 Washington DC
These are not the only Fox channels added to Pluto in August. Earlier this month, Pluto TV added LiveNow from Fox, Fox Soul and Fox Weather. The free streaming service also added a number of general entertainment FAST channels in August as well, including ‘Alien Nation by Dust,’ ‘Cheaters,’ ‘Makers,’ and ‘Star Trek: The Motion Pictures.’
In June, Fremantle and Pluto TV also agreed a new distribution deal to add 25 FAST channels across thirteen countries, including Canada, the UK and the U.S.
