Reelz+ Is Now Available As A Premium Subscription On The Roku Channel

Reelz+ is now available as a premium subscription option on The Roku Channel, providing fans of Reelz programming with another way to subscribe to the service and stream their favorite shows.

Reelz+ launched earlier this year and, as is typically the case with new streaming services, device and platform support was a little limited to begin with.

Since then, Reelz has slowly been working on building out that support. Just last month, for example, Reelz+ became available on Apple TV, and this was following June’s launch on Prime Video.

While Reelz+ has been available on Roku players and TVs since launch, it has required the Roku user to download the separate Reelz app on their device and sign up for a standalone subscription through the app.

That’s changed, as Roku users now have the option of subscribing to Reelz+ directly through The Roku Channel.

This not only allows the use of their Roku to manage their Reelz+ subscription but also stream content without downloading the additional app.

“With Roku powering nearly 60% of connected TV households in the U.S. this launch is a natural evolution for Reelz+,” said Matt Greenberg, SVP of Marketing and Growth at Reelz+.

As a reminder, Reelz+ is the streaming home of all Reelz programming, including live episodes every Friday and Saturday night of On Patrol: Live (as well as on-demand access to more than 300 past episodes) and its lead-in On Patrol: First Shift.
