Previously referred to as ‘active accounts,’ Roku previously confirmed that it started 2025 with 90 million streaming households. With that number having now grown beyond 100 million, the platform has added around 10 million in a little over a year.
With the company having also added 10 million in the previous year, closing out 2023 with 80 million, Roku has added over 20 million Streaming Households in just over two years.

While Roku defines a streaming household as a distinct user account that has streamed on the platform during a 30-day period, its userbase appears to be highly active throughout the month.
According to Roku, more than half of Streaming Households use the platform 25 days per month.
With over 100 million Streaming Households, the latest milestone is also good news for advertisers, who have access to an increasingly engaged and attentive audience.
