If you’ve been waiting for Roku‘s new streaming sticks to go on sale, they are now available to buy. The two new streaming players are designed to be even more compact than previous models, with Roku explaining they are 35% smaller than sticks offered by other brands.
Roku announced the new Roku Streaming Stick and Roku Streaming Stick Plus last month, and pre-orders opened almost immediately after. With that pre-order period having now ended, the two sticks are now available to purchase online and in select retailers.
Likewise, those that had previously pre-ordered either streaming player can now expect their streaming stick to ship, if it hasn’t already.
Choosing Between Roku’s New Streaming Sticks
In general, these streaming sticks are designed to replace the company’s entry-level Roku Express models. As a result, those interested in a Roku Express equivalent will want to consider the $29.99 Roku Streaming Stick.
For those that would prefer a Roku Express 4K+ equivalent, unlocking access to 4K support in the process, the new Roku Streaming Stick Plus costs $39.99.
