Sling TV is offering new customers a free Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite and a discount on a live TV plan for Black Friday. This time of the year is always a good opportunity to save on the purchase of a new streaming device, but the option to get one for free with a live TV plan is a pretty good deal.

Sling TV is one of the more affordable live TV streaming services. With plans starting at $40 per month, Sling is cheaper than DirecTV Stream, fuboTV, Hulu Live TV, and YouTube TV. While the channel lineup quite isn’t as varied as some of these other services, the selection may still suit a number of homes.

Lowering the cost even further, Sling has now launched its Black Friday 2022 deals. Basically, Sling is giving away a free Fire TV Stick Lite (normally, $29.99 on Amazon) to anyone who signs up to Sling TV. In addition, those same customers will also get a $10 discount on the first month of Sling Orange, Sling Blue, or Sling Orange & Blue. This promotion is live now and will remain available through Sunday, November 27th, 2022.

Sling TV is also offering a slightly different, but better deal. Those new to Sling can not only pick up a free Fire TV Stick Lite, and save $10 on the cost of a Sling TV plan, but they can also get a free month of the Lifestyle Extra add-on. This is the add-on that unlocks access to all three Hallmark channels, making it a good option for Christmas movies. With the addition of Lifestyle Extra, this deal offers better value overall. However, it will require the subscriber to manually cancel the add-on, if they don’t want to pay the usual $6 per month price once the free month ends.

Of course, if access to the additional channels, including Hallmark, is not really needed, then it may make more sense to go with the first deal, and avoid having to worry about canceling the add-on. Either way, a free Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite is a pretty nice gift for signing up to what is already an affordably live TV service.

If not particularly in need of a new streaming player, Sling TV is still offering the option to just sign up and only pay 50% of the price for the first month. This brings the cost of Sling Orange or Sling Blue down to $20 for the first month, and Sling Orange & Blue down to $27.50 for the first month. Alternatively, it may be worth waiting until Cyber Monday to see if Sling offers any other deals, especially as these ones are due to end on Sunday night.
