Sling has been offering free previews of different premium networks since 2022. Last August, for example, all Sling subscribers gained access to AMC Plus for free for the weekend. Now, and almost exactly one year later, Sling TV is once again offering the same free preview.

This latest AMC Plus free preview went live today (August 3) and will remain available through Sunday (August 6). During this time, all Sling TV subscribers can consume as much available AMC Plus content as they like for free, including Dark Winds, John Wick, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: Dead City.

To access the free preview, look for the AMC+ Freeview row on the Home screen, or try searching the On Demand section for any shows or movies that typically require a paid AMC Plus subscription.

As this is a free preview, subscribers won’t have to worry about canceling. Instead, they will simply lose access to the available content once the free preview comes to an end on August 6th.

For those wanting to retain access to AMC Plus after the free preview, it can easily be bundled with either the Sling Orange, Sling Blue, or Orange & Blue plan. The premium add-on costs an additional $7.99 a month and unlocks ad-free access to AMC shows, as well as additional content from Shudder, IFC Films Unlimited and Sundance Now.

If not currently signed up to Sling, the live TV service is running a promotion right now that reduces the cost of the first month of either of its two main base plans to $20. The same promotion can also be used to reduce the cost of the first month of the Orange & Blue plan down to $27.50.
