T-Mobile and Metro by T‑Mobile customers are eligible for a free Apple TV MLS Season Pass. While T-Mobile has now announced and confirmed its latest ‘on us’ promotion, customers will have to wait another few days before they can take advantage of the offer.
Apple announced its MLS Season Pass in late 2022. Officially, the option to sign up for a subscription became available on February 1st, a few weeks ahead of the February 25th start date for the 2023 season. A single MLS Season Pass subscription not only unlocks access to every live regular-season match, but also all MLS Cup playoff matches, and the Leagues Cup.
Just in time for those Opening Day games, T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers will be able to sign up for a free MLS Season Pass subscription. According to T-Mobile, customers will be able to begin redeeming the ‘Season Pass on Us’ deal through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app starting from next Tuesday, February 21st.
It is worth noting that this is a limited-time deal. Essentially, T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers will need to redeem the free subscription before March 14th, 2023. The free subscription will then expire on January 31st, 2024, just before the 2024 season begins.
For soccer fans in the US, this is a pretty good deal and one that will be worth taking advantage of if already a T-Mobile customer. The current cost of MLS Season Pass is $14.99 per month (or $99/season). However, those signed up to Apple TV Plus can also sign up for MLS Season Pass at a reduced rate of $12.99 per month (or $79/season).
As a result, the worst-case scenario with this new promotion is that T-Mobile customers are only saving $79 per year on the cost of Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass.
