Tubi is expanding its collection of creator content. Earlier this year, Tubi announced its new Tubi for Creators program as a way to support content creators and bring more content to its free platform.
At the time, Tubi confirmed a small selection of creators had joined the program, with the creator lineup including Jubilee, Kinigra Deon, Rhett and Link, and Watcher.
Today Tubi confirmed it is expanding the program through the addition of a number of other creators. The newest additions include Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast), Alan’s Universe, Jomboy Media, CelinaSpookyBoo, and Steven He, among others.
With more creators on board, the variety of creator content available to stream on Tubi will also now increase. Compared to the 500+ videos confirmed at the time of the program’s launch, Tubi’s creator content library will now boast more than 5,000 episodes.
“We’re committed to building a bridge to Hollywood for creators to help them reach new audiences. Tubi is a platform for bold, breakthrough work and these 5,000 episodes are just the beginning,” said Rich Bloom, General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development at Tubi.
In terms of the new content, Tubi users will be able to access MrBeast seasons and episodes from 2023 through 2025, Jomboy Media’s Talkin’ Baseball and Talkin’ Yanks, Alan Chikin Chow’s Alan’s Universe, a new long-form, spooky series from Celina Myers, and Steven He’s new series Fish Bowl.
For reference, Tubi isn’t the only free streaming service to bring content creators on board in a bid to boost its library. Samsung TV Plus, for example, is also banking on content creators.
Samsung’s free streaming service has already added a number of creator-focused FAST channels, and more are set to be added to its lineup later this year.
