ViX, the Spanish-language streaming service owned by TelevisaUnivision, now has more than 10 million subscribers globally. The updated subscriber count was confirmed during TelevisaUnivision’s financial results for the second quarter of 2025.

According to the company, ViX has delivered double-digit growth year-over-year, with TelevisaUnivision crediting the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup has helping to drive record-setting viewership in the U.S. and Mexico

Our direct-to-consumer business continues to scale, with ViX surpassing 10 million subscribers and delivering double-digit growth through disciplined execution across product and programming. With a fantastic team in place, including new key leadership hires, we’re energized by the continued momentum of our evolution as we head into the back half of 2025,” said Daniel Alegre, CEO of TelevisaUnivision.

Another reason for the growth in subscribers is the creation and expansion of deals with other companies and services. Earlier this year, for example, TelevisaUnivision entered a new multi-region distribution partnership with Disney, unlocking the option of a Disney+ and ViX bundle in Mexico.

Other deals in recent months have resulted in Spectrum TV Customers gaining access to a free ViX Premium with Ads subscription, and the bundling of ViX with DirecTV’s MiEspanol Genre Pack.

Considering how new some of these agreements are, the company will be expecting to continue to see subscriber growth throughout the rest of this year.

This quarter reflects meaningful progress across our business, driven by a reimagined content strategy that’s beginning to show strategic payoff,” added Alegre. “By taking a holistic view of our investments—across premium scripted, live sports, and multiplatform content—we’re seeing stronger performance and deeper audience engagement.
