The iQIYI app is now available on Vizio smart TVs, unlocking access to a variety of popular Asian entertainment, including Chinese dramas, Korean dramas, Thai dramas, anime, variety shows, and much more.
While confirmed today by Vizio, it looks like the app has been available on its smart TVs for a few weeks now, so some users may have already noticed it had arrived. For those that haven’t, iQIYI can be found just like any other app on a Vizio TV – in the Apps section or by searching for the app by name using the App Search feature.
For reference, iQIYI is not a completely free service. Although the streaming service offers some content for free, a subscription is required to unlock the full library and additional features. In terms of the price, there are two main paid ‘VIP’ plans to choose from, Standard and Premium.
Standard, with the ability to skip some ads and watch on up to 2 devices at the same time, costs $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year. Premium costs $11.99 a month or $119.99 a year, and removes all the ads while also increasing the maximum number of simultaneous streams to four.
For those not looking to pay for an additional subscription right now, Vizio has added the Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan and Curiosity Now FAST channels to its free WatchFree+ streaming service over the past two months.
