If you’ve wanted to sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket but didn’t like the idea of paying for the season in advance, you no longer have to. Instead, it is now possible to pay monthly for the NFL subscription when signing up through either YouTube or YouTube TV.
What’s more, paying on a monthly basis doesn’t result in paying a higher amount over the full season. Instead, both monthly and seasonal subscribers pay exactly the same amount for their NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.
If wanting to sign up through YouTube TV, which is the cheapest option for NFL Sunday Ticket overall, the price of a subscription is $378 for the full season. If opting to pay over 12 months, the new monthly price is $31.50.
If wanting to sign up to the individual Primetime Channel through YouTube, NFL Sunday Ticket costs $480 for the full season. When signing up to the monthly plan, the cost is $40 a month.
Unlike other monthly subscriptions, signing up to NFL Sunday Ticket on a monthly basis doesn’t make it easier to cancel at a later date to save monthly. Instead, YouTube and YouTube TV’s monthly NFL Sunday Ticket plan locks the subscriber in to 12 non-cancellable payments.
Monthly subscribers will be charged for the first payment at the time of purchase, and then automatically charged on a monthly basis for all remaining payments due for that season.
Another limitation is that the monthly option isn’t available in the following locations:
- Colorado
- Maine
- Utah
- Vermont
- Wisconsin
Residents in these locations will continue to be offered the option to purchase NFL Sunday in full, or spread out over four monthly payments.
