If you’re new to Apple TV+, you can currently get the first three months for free by signing up through Best Buy. While this offer has been available for some time now, it is worth being aware that it is still available, and a great way to save on the first few months of a subscription.
As the offer is being offered through Best Buy, new subscribers will need to ‘buy‘ the subscription. The cost is free, however, so this is just a matter of adding the free trial to the shopping cart and checking out. Once purchased, the buyer will receive an email containing a promo code that can be used to redeem the free three months.

Considering Apple TV+ typically only offers a seven-day free trial to new subscribers, this extended free trial offers a significantly longer period to test out the service and see if it is right before paying. Also, and even though the promotion is primarily aimed at new subscribers, it is available to eligible returning subscribers as well.
For reference, the subscription will auto-renew at the usual rate (currently $9.99/month) after the promotion ends. Subscribers will need to manually cancel the subscription before the end of the third free month, if they don’t want to continue on as a paid subscriber.
This is not the only extended Apple TV+ free trial doing the rounds at the moment. Owners of a PlayStation 4 or 5 can also get three months free by signing up to through the PlayStation Apple TV app.
Alternatively, if you’ve recently purchased a new Apple device, you may also be eligible to get the first three months of Apple TV+ for free as well.
