YouTube has lowered the discount it offers to new YouTube TV subscribers back down to just $8 a month. The discount applies to the first four months of a subscription.
Earlier this month, YouTube TV began offering a $20 discount to new subscribers. If remaining subscribed for all four discounted months, the previous promotion resulted in a total saving of $80.
While not as big of a discount as before, the current promotion still results in a saving of $32 over the first four months. The new discount matches an earlier deal YouTube TV was offering new subscribers between July 15 and August 19, 2024.
For those that have also been considering signing up to NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV, an alternate deal knocked $85 off the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket when bundled with the live TV base package. However, that promotion also came to an end this week.
Instead, YouTube TV is now only offering a $35 discount when bundling NFL Sunday Ticket and YouTube TV over four months, which is only a few dollars more than the $8 monthly discounted currently offered to all new subscribers, including those not opting to bundle NFL Sunday Ticket.
For reference, YouTube TV did recently relaunch its ‘Max on Us’ promotion and this one is still available. Basically, those adding NFL Sunday Ticket to their base live TV plan are eligible to get four months of Max for free, resulting in a monthly saving of $16.99, and $67.96 in total over all four months.
