AMC+ (With Ads) is now available as a premium subscription through The Roku Channel. While Roku already offered the option to sign up to AMC+, users only had the option of signing up to the standard (ad-free) plan.

AMC+ first launched its ‘with ads’ plan back in September of last year. Priced at $4.99 a month, it is a cheaper way to access the steaming service, albeit at the time cost of sitting through ad breaks.

With the ad-supported tier also now available, Roku device users have the option of signing up to AMC+ for as little as $4.99 a month and having Roku manage the payments and subscription for them.

Similar to the ad-free tier, new subscribers can take advantage of a 7-day free trial when signing up for an AMC+ (With Ads) subscription through The Roku Channel.

As a reminder, AMC+ not only unlocks access to popular AMC shows, but also the entire IFC Films Unlimited, Shudder and Sundance Now libraries. With access to additional content from the BBC America, IFC, and Sundance TV networks as well, AMC+ is a content-rich subscription service, and can be a good way to save on the cost of different services and networks.

For those that would prefer an ad-free streaming experience, the ad-free plan remains priced at $8.99 a month or $83.99 a year through The Roku Channel. Unlike the ad-free tier, AMC+ doesn’t offer the option to sign up for a year of the ad-supported plan and save on the cost.

Another notable difference with the ad-supported plan is that subscribers cannot download titles to watch offline on supported devices.
