Subscribers to Fubo’s Latino plan or the Latino Plus add-on now have access to a variety of Canela.TV linear channels and on-demand content.
Canela.TV is offered by Canela Media and provides access to a wide variety of Spanish-language content. The free service also includes access to various FAST linear channels and a number of those channels, as well as additional on-demand content, are also now available through Fubo.
Canela Deportes, Canela Clásicos, Canela Cinema and Canela Telenovelas have all now been added to Fubo’s Latino plan. Fubo’s ‘best Spanish language TV’ plan costs $32.99 per month and unlocks access to a variety of Spanish-language channels. The new Canela channels now boost the total number of channels up to 57.
For those signing up to Fubo’s Latino plan for the first time, a current promotion reduces the cost of the first month down to $24.99.
From what we can tell, these channels were actually added to Fubo back in May, so some subscribers may have already noticed they were available prior to today’s confirmation. FILMEX, FILMEX CLASICO, TEVEO, América TeVe, and FILMEX DOCUMENTALES were all also added to the Latino plan in May.
For reference, the same Canela.TV content is also now available to anyone signed up to the Latino Plus channel package. Latino Plus costs $19.99 per month and can be added to any of Fubo’s English-language plans. Following the addition of the new Canela channels, Latino Plus now offers access to more than 35 Spanish-language channels.
In addition to the linear channels, the deal is said to result in Latino and the Latino Plus subscribers getting access to more than 10,000 hours of Canela.TV content, including access to Canela Originals like Secretos de Villanas and Secretos de Las Indomables.
Subscribers will also have access to more sports content, including live Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), boxing, and 100% Futbol, a Canela Deportes original show.
