Cocaine Bear was released in the United States on February 24, 2023 and the basic premise is that a 500-pound bear has managed to ingest a huge amount of cocaine. As a result, the coke-fueled bear is now on a rampage with a random group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens all getting caught up in the action.

Following its stint in the theaters, Cocaine Bear has now made its way to streaming and can be watched at home through Peacock. For those new to this streaming service, a paid subscription is required and the cheapest option is the $4.99 per month Premium plan. For those that would prefer to sign up to an ad-free viewing experience, Peacock’s Premium Plus plan costs $9.99 per month.

If you are likely to remain subscribed for longer than a few months, then it might be worth checking out this current deal which reduces the price of Peacock’s Premium annual plan down from $49.99 to $19.99.

For background, Cocaine Bear is reportedly based on true events, with the inspiration for the movie being the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it.

As is the case with the Cocaine Bear movie, the Cocaine Bear: The True Story documentary is available to watch with a standard Peacock Premium plan, so no additional purchase is necessary.
