DirecTV has added another five FAST channels to its DirecTV Stream lineup. The new additions unlock access to more sports, including Women’s Sports Network, and two Spanish channels from Fuse Media.
The five new FAST channels are:
- El Rey Rebel (Ch. 4229)
- Poker Go (Ch. 4140)
- Racing America (Ch. 4192)
- Somos Novelas (Ch. 4720)
- Women’s Sports Network (Ch. 4125)
As these are free, ad-supported channels, they are available to all DirecTV Stream subscribers, and at no additional cost.
The latest additions follow Alien Nation by DUST, The Bob Ross Channel, Comedy Dynamics, Court TV, The Design Network, Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, Dove Channel, MeatEater TV, Nosey TV, Origin Sports, Power Nation, Scripps News, Time and Yahoo Finance, all of which were added to DirecTV Stream earlier in the year.
Those looking through the live guide may also notice that they have access to Willow TV. However, this channel has only been made available as part of a limited-time free preview to promote the ICC T20 World Cup and access will be revoked again at the weekend.
In other news, it became clear earlier this week that DirecTV is preparing to roll out multiple profiles support. While the new feature is only available to beta testers right now, it is expected that it will become available to all subscribers with a future app update. When exactly that update will roll out is still unknown.
