DirecTV Stream is currently offering new customers the option to sign up to a live TV plan from just $54.99 per month for the first two months. Although this is only for the first couple of months, it is a fairly good saving on the normal subscription cost. As to be expected, this deal is only available for a limited time.

DirecTV Stream offers a number of different live TV plans for consumers to choose from. However, with the cheapest plan starting at $69.99 per month, it is a relatively expensive live TV streaming service. Still, for some homes the channel lineup might better suit their needs making DirecTV Stream a better option overall.

Right now, DirecTV Stream is looking to offer more of an extra incentive to sign up by reducing the cost of its Entertainment plan to $54.99 per month for the first two months. The deal is live now when signing up through the DirecTV Stream website and is due to remain available up until June 19, 2022. Considering this plan normally costs $69.99, the current promotion results in a $15 saving each month and $30 over the course of the two discounted months. Previously, DirecTV Stream was offering a similar promotion that applied to the first three months. However, that deal only brought the cost down to $59.99 each month, making this one a greater per-month discount.

For households in need of a richer selection of channels, the same $30 over 2 months deal is actually available for all of the DirecTV Stream plans. This means the Choice plan currently costs $74.99 per month (down from $89.99), the Ultimate plan is $89.99 per month (down from $104.99) and the Premier plan is $134.99 per month (down from $149.99). Once again, the discount only applies to the first two months.

As is always the case with these deals and promotions, automatic billing is in effect. In other words, unless the DirecTV Stream subscription is canceled before the end of the promotional period, the subscriber will automatically be charged the higher monthly cost for the third month. For reference, this $30 over 2 months deal is also available to returning customers, providing the previous subscription ended more than 12 months ago.
