Members of the Disney Movie Insiders program can now get a three-month free trial of the Disney Bundle Trio Basic plan. The Trio Basic bundle tier unlocks access to Disney+ (with ads), basic Hulu (with ads) and ESPN+ (with ads), and normally costs $14.99 a month.
Over the weekend, Disney confirmed that it was closing the program down. With Disney Movie Insiders now set to end in early December, members have only a few months left to use up their existing points.
One benefit that won’t help Insiders spend their points is the three-month free trial. Instead, this can be instantly redeemed by all members through the Rewards section. Once redeemed, Insiders will receive a code that they can use to sign up and start the Trio Basic subscription.
With Disney Movie Insiders closing down on December 4th, the extended free trial does need to be redeemed by end of day on December 3rd, 2024. Insiders will then have up until end of business on January 31st, 2025 to activate the Disney Bundle Trio Basic subscription with the code.
For reference, the extended free trial offer is only available to new and eligible returning subscribers. As this is a bundle subscription, that means those already subscribed to either Disney+, ESPN+ or basic Hulu are excluded from the offer.
Earlier this year, Disney+ confirmed that the price of its services are due to increase in October. With the Disney Bundle Trio Basic subscription due to increase to $16.99 a month as part of this year’s price increases, that’s the price the bundle will auto-renew at after the last free month.
While the three months of Disney Bundle Trio Basis offer is only available to Insiders in the U.S, Insiders based in Canada can get a three-month free trial of Disney+ Standard (With Ads).
