Disney ended the second calendar quarter of 2025 (Disney Q3 FY25) with 127.8 million global Disney+ subscribers. The update confirms an increase of around 1.8 million subscribers on the previous quarter.
After closing out the first calendar quarter (Disney Q2 FY25) with 126 million subscribers, Disney+ added around 1.4 million subscribers during the first three months of the year.
When combining both of these most recent quarterly results, Disney+ has added roughly 3.2 million subscribers during the first half of this year.
In terms of the U.S. and Canada domestic market, Disney+ ended the most recent quarter with 57.8 subscribers. This effectively means Disney+ didn’t add nor lose any subscribers between April and June 2025.
Considering Disney+ reported 56.8 million domestic subscribers for the end of 2024, the streaming service has added around one million in the first half of the year, albeit with all of those additions coming in the first three months of the year.
With no increase in the domestic market during the second calendar quarter, all of the Disney+ additions came through the international market.
After closing out the previous quarter with 68.2 million international subscribers, Disney reported 69.9 million international subscribers for the second calendar quarter of this year, resulting in an increase of 1.7 million.
