Disney closed out the first calendar quarter of 2025 (Disney Q2 FY25) with 126 million Disney+ subscribers. The update confirms an increase of around 1.4 million subscribers during the first three months of the year.

The increase is all the more notable as the 124.6 million Disney+ subscribers reported at the end of 2023 marked a loss of 700,00 subscribers. With around twice as many subscriber additions in the most recent quarter, the streaming service is up around 700,000 subscribers on the third calendar quarter of last year.

In the U.S. and Canada, Disney+ ended the most recent quarter with 57.8 million subscribers. This represent an increase of one million on the 56.8 million reported at the end of 2024. It is also an increase on the 54 million subscribers reported for the end of the first calendar quarter of last year.

Internationally, Disney+ ended the first calendar quarter of 2025 with 68.2 million subscribers, up from the 67.8 million reported at the end of 2024, and up from the 63.6 million reported at the end of the first quarter of 2024.

In late 2024, Disney increased the price of its Disney+ plans. According to Disney, this price increase resulted in an increase in domestic average monthly revenue per paid subscriber, which increased from $7.99 to $8.06.

Disney also reported an international average monthly revenue per paid subscriber increase, up from $7.19 to $7.52.
