T-Mobile customers on eligible plans are able to get one year of Apple TV+ for free starting this week. This promotion is the latest option for those looking to check out Apple’s streaming service for a longer period than usual without having to pay the subscription cost. With 12 months of free service on offer, this is one of the better Apple TV+ extended free trials around, and the latest example of a wireless mobile plan offering access to a streaming service for free.

The Apple TV+ streaming service is padded out with a number of exclusive Apple original shows and movies, including Ted Lasso and The Morning Show, with a standard subscription priced at $4.99 per month. Previously, the service was somewhat limited in terms of device support, but that’s been changing recently with Apple TV+ now available to stream on a variety of devices, including non-Apple phones and streaming players.

T-Mobile has confirmed that starting from Wednesday August 25, Magenta and Magenta Max customers will be able to get 12 months of Apple TV+ for free. The deal is not just for customers on T-Mobile branded plans, but also those signed up to Sprint Unlimited Plus, Sprint Premium, and eligible T-Mobile for Business customers as well. In addition, the deal is open to both new and existing T-Mobile customers.

From August 25, eligible customers can simply redeem the offer directly in the T-Mobile app on their smartphone or by adding the promotion to their account via the my.t-mobile.com website. Alternatively, Magenta customers, as well as those on an eligible Sprint plan, can head over to promotions.t-mobile.com, enter their phone number and the 2021APPLETVP1 promo code to redeem the offer. Once the promotion has been redeemed, the user will immediately be able to start streaming Apple TV+ shows and movies for free.

Those already signed up to Apple TV+ can also take advantage of the deal and save on the cost of a subscription for the next twelve months. For reference, all eligible T-Mobile customers will need to redeem the offer before 7/31/22. In addition, once the free promotional period comes to an end, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled, charged at $4.99 per month.

This is only the latest Apple TV+ extended free trial to become available. Recently, Target starting offering Circle members the option to stream the service for free for four months while PS5 owners are eligible for up to six months of free Apple TV+. Not to mention, Apple still offers those who buy an Apple device, including an Apple TV player, an extended free trial as well. Previously, the Apple device deal resulted in one year of free Apple TV+, but that has since been reduced down to just three months.
