T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers can now redeem a free MLS Season Pass. Apple’s MLS subscription service typically costs $14.99 per month or $12.99 per month if already an Apple TV Plus subscriber. Regardless of whether paying for Apple TV Plus, this limited-time promotion is a great way to save on the monthly cost of watching soccer.
T-Mobile is a company that has greatly embraced streaming in general. In the past, its customers have been able to save on a variety of different streaming services including Philo and YouTube TV. However, this promotion is a little different to some of the others considering it is only available for a very limited time.
Specifically, T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers only have until 4:59 a.m. ET on March 14, 2023 to claim and redeem a free MLS Season Pass subscription. The option to redeem became available on Feb. 21, which means T-Mobile customers have exactly three weeks to claim their free subscription.
How to redeem a free MLS Season Pass
The T-Mobile Tuesdays app is required to redeem the promotion and is available to download on Android and iOS. The user will need to submit their phone number in the app as this is used to authenticate the account and unlock benefits, including a free MLS Season Pass subscription.
- Open the T-Mobile Tuesdays app
- Enter phone number (if asked)
- Enter code
- Tap on 2023 MLS Season Pass On Us
- Tap Save to my stuff
At this point, the user will be presented with a code which can be used to redeem one free MLS Season Pass now or at a later tine.
By clicking on the “Copy code and redeem” button in the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, the code will automatically be copied and the user will be redirected to the Apple TV website where they can then sign in with their Apple ID and add the free subscription to their account.
If using an iPhone with the Apple TV app already installed and set up, the code should automatically redeem itself when tapping the “Copy code and redeem” button.
For reference, T-Mobile customers can also manually add the code to their Apple account. To do this, head over to the Apple TV website, log in using an Apple ID, click on the profile icon in the top-right corner, and then click on Settings.
The user will then see a Redeem Promotional Code option which can be used to enter the free MLS Season Pass code they got from the T-Mobile Tuesday app.
Regardless of whether adding the code through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app or directly through the Settings section of the website, once the code has been linked to an Apple ID, the free subscription will be created and the user will see that they have access to MLS Season Pass until Feb. 1, 2024.
