As part of its multi-year MLB deal, Apple has confirmed the return of Friday Night Baseball to Apple TV+ for the 2025 season. Two marquee matchups will be available every week over 25 weeks, and across 60 countries and regions, with the first exclusive weekly doubleheader taking place on March 28, 2025.

Apple’s first Friday Night Baseball doubleheader will see the Baltimore Orioles at the Toronto Blue Jays, and the New York Mets at the Houston Astros. So far, Apple has only confirmed this season’s schedule through Friday, June 27, when the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles and the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Cleveland Guardians.

In addition to the live games, Apple TV+ will also be home to the MLB Big Inning whip-around show, featuring live look-ins and in-game highlights every weeknight, as well as additional programming including Countdown to First Pitch, MLB Daily Recap, and MLB This Week.

Apple has also confirmed that a selection of free MLB programming will be available in the Apple TV app, including game recaps, classic games, highlights, interviews, and more. As a reminder, the Apple TV app is also now available on Android mobile devices, which is a major difference compared to last season.

For those with an Apple Vision Pro, Apple also announced VIP: Yankee Stadium. According to Apple, the new immersive video provides viewers with an all-access pass to one of the world’s most iconic sports venues.

VIP: Yankee Stadium will be available for free beginning next month.
