Frndly TV subscribers get access to more than 40 live TV channels, including Hallmark and the History Channel. Although the selection of channels might be fewer than what’s available with some of the other live TV streaming services, the price is considerably less. This makes Frndly TV a good option for individuals and households that want access to certain channels, without having to pay for channels they don’t want.

Frndly TV is designed to be an affordable option. The live TV service manages to keep the price low by only adding select channels to its lineup. With plans starting as low as $6.99 per month, it can be a great alternative to the major live TV services, providing it does have the channels a household wants access to.

More than 40 Frndly TV channels

Frndly TV provides access to more than 40 channels and for as little as $6.99 per month. Even though there are more expensive Frndly TV plans available, there is no difference in the channel selection. Therefore, no matter which plan a household signs up to, they won’t be missing out on any channels.

As of September, 2022, all Basic, Classic and Premium Frndly TV subscribers get access to the following channels:

  • A&E
  • BabyFirst
  • BYUtv
  • Circle
  • Crime & Investigation
  • CuriosityStream
  • Decades
  • Dove Channel
  • Dove Family Movies
  • Dove Kids
  • FETV
  • FMC
  • FYI
  • Gameshow
  • GetTV
  • Great American Family
  • Great American Living
  • Hallmark Channel
  • Hallmark Drama
  • Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Heartland TV
  • Heroes & Icons
  • History Channel
  • INSP
  • Lifetime
  • Lifetime Movie Network
  • Local Now
  • MeTV
  • Military HISTORY
  • Movies!
  • Outdoor Channel
  • Pixl
  • QVC
  • Recipe.TV
  • Sportsman Channel
  • Start TV
  • StoryTV
  • The Weather Channel
  • UPtv
  • Vice TV
  • World Fishing Network

Even though the channel selection is not quite as varied as other live TV services, it does include many channels that a number of households will be looking for. For example, A&E, all three Hallmark channels, the History Channel, Lifetime, and The Weather Channel, are all included, among many others.

Different plans, same channels

Frndly TV does offer more than one plan, but one of the benefits of the service is that the channel list is not dependent on the subscription tier or how much a subscriber pays. Due to this, consumers can simply opt for the cheapest plan to save money and still get access to every channel that subscribers to a more expensive plan get.

Instead of focusing on the channel lineups, the major differences between the various plans include the picture quality, the ability to record shows and movies, how long those recordings are kept for, and how many devices can watch at the same time. If one or more of these factors matter, then it may be worth considering one of the more expensive plans.

For reference, Frndly TV doesn’t offer much in the way of add-ons with the one exception being Hallmark Movies Now. For those that do want to fully complete the Hallmark experience, Hallmark Movies Now can be added to any plan for an additional $5.99 per month.

Frndly TV channels: summary

All Frndly TV subscribers have access to more than 40 live TV channels, including all three Hallmark channels and the History Channel. Frndly TV has routinely been expanding the channel lineup over time and that’s likely to continue in the future. With plans starting as low as $6.99 per month, Frndly TV can be an affordable alternative to the main live TV subscription services. Even for those with an active live TV subscription elsewhere, Frndly TV could prove to be an affordable way to add back missing or dropped channels.
