Fubo ended the fourth quarter, and 2024 as whole, with 1.676 million subscribers in North America, resulting in a slight increase on the previous quarter and year. Fubo also confirmed it closed the year with a record $1.59 billion in revenue.

Considering Fubo closed out the third quarter of 2024 with 1.61 million subscribers in North America, the live TV streaming service managed to add around 63,000 subscribers during the final three months of the year.

With 1.62 million North American subscribers also reported for the end of 2023, the company managed to add around 58,000 subscribers over the full calendar year.

In 2024, we delivered North America revenue of $1.588 billion and subscribers of 1.676 million, both record-breaking metrics for our company, representing 19% and 4% year-over-year growth, respectively,” Fubo said in a Shareholder Letter.

In terms of the rest of the world (ROW), Fubo ended last year with 362,000 paid subscribers. In contrast to North America, this reflected a decrease on the 378,000 paid subscribers reported for the end of the third quarter of 2024. It is also a decrease on the 406,000 paid subscribers reported for the end of 2023.

Looking forward, Fubo now projects to end the first quarter of 2025 with between 1.43 million and 1.46 million North American subscribers. In December, a carriage dispute resulted in the loss of a number of TelevisaUnivision channels and it is this dispute that Fubo expects to result in a loss of subscribers during the current quarter.

Fubo remains focused on providing our subscribers with the most compelling content viewing options while also advancing profitability objectives,” Fubo said in a Shareholder Letter.

Fubo also anticipates a decline in ROW subscribers during the first calendar quarter of this year, with the expectation it will close the current quarter with between 330,000 and 340,000 subscribers.
