Fubo Subscribers to Begin Paying Higher DAZN Price Later This Month

If you currently subscribe to DAZN through Fubo you can expect the monthly cost to increase later this month. The confirmation of the price increase comes directly from Fubo, with the company confirming DAZN’s price increase will soon be passed on to consumers.

This time last year, Fubo and DAZN agreed a new deal that saw the two companies agree to distribute their owned-and-operated products on each other’s platforms.

Up until now, the cost of subscribing to DAZN through Fubo was $29.99/mo. However, beginning July 24th, the cost of the add-on will increase to $34.99/mo, resulting in a $5/mo increase.

In a support document detailing the price increase, Fubo makes clear the price increase is a result of its own costs increasing.

“We strive to provide the best programming at the best value. However, from time to time our programming partners raise the prices they charge us and unfortunately, we are forced to pass some of that increase onto our customers,” Fubo said.

As we first reported earlier today, DAZN increased the price of its subscriptions late last month, with the increase impacting monthly and annual plans.

Fubo Recently Increased the Price of Its Packages

As we first reported earlier this week, Fubo recently increased the price of its own live TV packages.

The price increase follows the return of NBCUniversal channels and sees the cost returning to levels similar to what they were before Fubo lowered the price of its plans late last year – a direct result of the loss of the NBCU channels.

Technically, the prices of the main Fubo plans (Pro and Elite) increased beyond the level they were before the discount took effect, so this isn’t only a return to normal pricing, but a slight price increase as well.

As the return of the NBCU networks also resulted in channels like NBC and NBCSN being added to the Fubo Sports package, Fubo also increased the cost of its cheapest sports package for the first time.
