New subscribers can currently get Disney+ Basic for just $1.99 a month for the first three months. With the Disney+ Basic plan currently priced at $7.99, new subscribers will save a minimum of $6 (75%) each month.
For those now considering signing up, this is a limited-time promotion. The lower price became available today and is due to remain available through September 27, 2024.

Deal: Bundle with Hulu from $11/mo
While new subscribers will save $6 a month when signing up, they will technically save even more on up to two of those three discounted months, as Disney has already confirmed the cost of a subscription will increase next month.
With Disney+ Basic increasing to $9.99 a month from October 17, those that sign up before the end of this month at the discounted rate will save as much $8 (80%) on at least one of those discounted months.
Considering $9.99 will be the new base price for Disney+ Basic, this is also the price the subscription will automatically renew at following the third discounted month, unless canceled.
For reference, Disney+ Basis is the ad-supported tier so new subscribers can expect to sit through ads before and during videos. Compared to Disney+ Premium, Basic subscribers also miss out on the ability to download videos for offline playback.
For those that would prefer to pay more for the ad-free plan, there’s currently no option to save on the cost of Disney+ Premium, other than the year-round ability to bundle Disney+ Premium with Hulu (No Ads) at a cheaper price.
