NFL RedZone through YouTube TV costs $10.99 a month on top of the current cost of the base plan. Alternatively, it is possible to bundle NFL RedZone with an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube TV.

YouTube TV is a good live TV streaming service, and especially for sports fans. When it comes to NFL, one of the benefits of YouTube TV is that the base plan includes access to NFL Network at no additional cost.

For those that want to watch every out-of-market Sunday game with NFL RedZone, they will need to pay extra for either the Sports Plus add-on or the NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone add-on.

NFL RedZone with Sports Plus

While NFL RedZone is not included in the base plan, it can be added to an existing YouTube TV base package through the Sports Plus add-on.

Sports Plus costs an additional $10.99 a month and unlocks access to the following sports channels.

  • NFL RedZone
  • beIN SPORTS
  • Fox Soccer Plus
  • VSiN
  • Outside TV
  • Overtime
  • PokerGO+
  • RACER Network
  • FanDuel TV
  • Stadium
  • Billiard TV
  • SportsGrid
  • PlayersTV
  • Fight Network
  • IMPACT Wrestling
  • Tennis Channel
  • Willow.

As NFL RedZone is available through an add-on, consumers will first need to subscribe to the service’s base live TV plan.

With the base plan priced at $82.99 a month, the total for the base plan and Sports Plus (including NFL RedZone) comes to a minimum of $93.98 a month.

NFL RedZone with NFL Sunday Ticket

In addition to Sports Plus, it is also possible to bundle NFL RedZone with NFL Sunday Ticket. NFL RedZone costs an additional $42 a season on top of the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket.

When signing up through YouTube TV, and excluding any limited-time deals, the combined price of Sunday Ticket and NFL RedZone comes to $318 a year (or $26.50/mo) for new subscribers and $420 a year (or $35/mo) for returning subscribers. This is on top of the cost of the base plan.

From September 2025, YouTube will also be offering the option to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket on a rolling monthly basis.

If signing up for the monthly plan, new Sunday Ticket subscribers can expect to pay $95/mo for NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone while returning subscribers can expect to pay $125/mo.

Again, this is on top of the monthly cost of the base live TV package and any other additional add-ons the subscriber might already be paying for.

Regardless of whether subscribing to NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone on a monthly or annual basis, the subscription will automatically renew each season at retail price, unless canceled.

Adding NFL RedZone to YouTube TV

Providing you have already signed up to the YouTube TV base plan, here’s how to add Sports Plus (with NFL RedZone) or Sunday Ticket + RedZone.

  1. Visit YouTube TV website
  2. Click on profile picture (top right corner)
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Membership
  5. Click Add next to Sports Plus or NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone
  6. Click Agree

Once added, the subscriber will immediately gain access to all out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on NFL RedZone. If signing up through Sports Plus, subscribers also get access to the additional sports content included with the add-on.

In addition to watching live games, YouTube TV subscribers can also record NFL RedZone. However, it’s not possible to record content from NFL RedZone by adding a specific team, league, or game.

Instead, Sports Plus and Sunday Ticket subscribers will need to add NFL RedZone to their library and record the full 8-hour program.

Good afternoon. I just cancelled my subscription to youtubetv due to some financial difficulties at this time. I also had Redzone added about a month ago. Does Redzone also go away with youtubetv upon cancellation. Just want to make sure that it does. Thank you.
