Peacock will soon be one of the places where you can watch live and on-demand programming from Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama, all thanks to a new deal with Hallmark Media. The new Hallmark Hub goes live this week and should prove to be a good addition for fans of Hallmark movies and shows.

The Hallmark Channel is a popular option for those looking for feel-good entertainment, and especially at this time of the year thanks to the channel’s Countdown to Christmas celebrations. However, watching Hallmark Channel typically requires a live TV subscription. Even then, subscribers might not get access to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama without upgrading their plan or bundling an add-on.

Going forward, however, Peacock is going to be a location where consumers can watch content from all three Hallmark channels. Advertised as a “first-of-its-kind linear plus SVOD deal for the network”, the agreement between Peacock and Hallmark Media not only includes on-demand programming, but also live simulcasts of all three channels. The all-new Hallmark Hub is due to go live on November 2nd, 2022. At which point, subscribers will be able to stream the Hallmark Channels and access the on-demand collection of “new premiere movies and dozens of Hallmark movie classics” through Peacock.

Overall, this is somewhat of an unusual deal but one that will certainly benefit Peacock subscribers who are Hallmark fans. Outside of Peacock, one of the cheapest ways to get access to live and on-demand Hallmark is with a FrndlyTV subscription. With plans starting at $7 per month, it is a much cheaper option than the other live TV streaming services that offer access to the various Hallmark channels.

As to be expected, the new Hallmark content will require a paid Peacock Premium subscription. Peacock offers two paid tiers for consumers to choose between, Premium and Premium Plus, and the differences mainly come down to the use of ads and the ability to download and watch select titles offline. Peacock Premium is priced at $4.99 per month while Premium Plus costs $9.99 per month.
