In the latest round of bundling, Peacock Premium is now included with Spectrum TV Select plans at no additional cost. In October 2024, Charter confirmed that it had struck a new multi-year distribution agreement with NBCUniversal, which included Spectrum TV Select customers gaining access to Peacock Premium.

While it has taken up until now for the streaming service to become available, Spectrum customers can now save $7.99 a month on the cost of a standalone Peacock subscription. As it is the ad-supported tier, Spectrum TV Select customers can expect to sit through ad breaks when using the Peacock streaming service.

For those interested in accessing Peacock Premium as soon as possible, Spectrum TV Select customers can activate their Peacock Premium subscription through spectrum.com/getapp. Once activated, they will then be able to use their Xumo Stream Box, or any Peacock-supported device, to stream the service’s library of more than 80,000 hours of content, including live sports, movies, and popular NBC and Bravo shows.

The integration of Peacock advances our goal of offering customers high-value video products that include the best of linear and streaming television,” said Tom Montemagno, Executive Vice President, Programming Acquisition for Spectrum.

This is only the latest streaming service to be bundled with Spectrum’s video packages over the past year. In September 2024, Spectrum TV Select customers gained access to the Max streaming service, and this followed the addition of Disney+, ESPN+, Paramount+, and ViX earlier in the year.

Peacock’s inclusion means customers in our most popular packages now enjoy free access to the industry’s major streaming services with their Spectrum TV plan, providing up to approximately $80 per month of retail value at no extra cost. We appreciate NBCUniversal’s willingness to help build a healthier video ecosystem for viewers,” Montemagno added.

Charter has also confirmed this isn’t the end either, with the company stating more are “on the way this year.”
