Peacock Saw No Subscriber Change In Q2 2025, Remains At 41 Million Subscribers

Peacock ended the second quarter of 2025 with 41 million paid subscribers. As this is the same number of subscribers reported for the quarter before, the streaming service saw no real change over the past three months.

Considering Peacock ended 2024 as a whole with 36 million subscribers, the streaming service managed to add roughly five million subscribers during the first six months of this year, albeit with all of those additions coming in the first three months of 2025.

On a year over year basis, Peacock ended the second quarter of 2024 with 33 million paid subscribers, resulting in an eight million subscriber gain over the past twelve months.

Peacock revenue increased 18% to $1.2 billion, and Comcast reported a loss of $101 million for the quarter, an improvement on the $247 million loss reported for the same quarter the year before.

Whether or not Peacock will see subscriber growth during the current quarter remains to be seen. The streaming service increased in price last week, and with $3 added to the monthly cost, this was the largest single price increase Peacock has encountered since launch.

Along with the price increase, Peacock has also now started testing a new Select plan. Priced at $8 a month, the same price the Premium plan was prior to the most recent price increase, the Select plan offers a more limited streaming experience by excluding movies, live sports and Peacock Originals.
