Amazon Prime Video will stream 21 New York Yankees games over the coming months for free for Prime members. The games being shown as part of this deal are not exclusive to Prime Video, but will be simultaneously streamed at the same time. Therefore, non-Prime Members will still be able to access the same games through an existing subscription that comes with access to YES Network.

Accessing regional sports networks has become increasingly harder through live TV streaming services in recent months, due to many of the RSNs having been dropped. This is also the case with YES Network following the RSN’s removal from both Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV in 2020. Since then, YES Network launched its own app, although it does still require authentication through a live TV subscription. However, the latest announcement confirms Prime Members will be able to watch a number of Yankees games for free.

YES Network has confirmed that 21 New York Yankees games will be available to stream through Prime Video and at no additional cost to Prime members. The first game is scheduled for April 18 against Tampa Bay with the final game taking place against Toronto on September 29. The games will only be available to residents in Yankees’ home market, including New York state, Connecticut, northeast Pennsylvania and north and central New Jersey.

Besides access to the live games, the announcement also confirms Amazon’s X-Ray feature will be available. With X-Ray, Yankees fans will be able to get in-game stats and real-time play-by-play information while watching live.
