TCL’s New Q Class Google TVs Are Here, And Start At Just $500

If you’re looking for a new smart TV, the latest models from TCL might be worth checking out. The company’s 2023 Google TV lineup is now hitting virtual and physical store shelves, and the cheapest model costs just $500.

TCL should be a brand that many consumers are already familiar with. In addition to televisions, the company also sells other mobile phones and electrical devices. While many TV makers now utilize their own software, TCL TVs can be found running on Fire TV, Roku, and Google TV, making it a good option regardless of a home’s preferred operating system

After initially announcing the TVs at CES 2023, the company has now officially confirmed that they have gone on sale. In total, the company is offering two main lineups, S Class and Q Class.

While S Class is designed to be easier on the pocket, Q Class offers more in terms of features and QLED Quantum Dot Color.

At the cheaper end of the Q Class is the TCL Q6 Series. The Q6 Series TVs run on Google TV and are available in a number of sizes.

  • 75″ model (75Q650G) $899.99
  • 85″ model (85Q650G) $1,599.99

Next up is the Q7 Series which also runs on Google TV. Similar to the Q6, the Q7 Series is available in a variety of sizes.

  • 85″ model (85Q750G) $2,199.99

Lastly, there’s the TCL QM8 Series. This series is designed to be the best that TCL has to offer, with the company promising that the “QM8 is a TV that will go toe-to-toe against the best in the industry.”

The QM8 Series is also available in a variety of sizes with the cheapest model priced at $1,700.

  • 75″ model (75QM850G) $2,299.99
  • 85″ model (85QM850G) $2,799.99
  • 98″ model (98QM850G) $9,999.99 (coming later this year)

For reference, TCL also confirmed that the S3 Series and S4 Series from the S Class are also now available. The S3 Series run on Google TV, are available in a variety of sizes (32 to 43 inches), and range from $199.99 to $249.99
