Vizio users now have the option of seeing what Peacock has to offer for free, thanks to a new Peacock Preview experience that’s available on the company’s smart TVs for a limited time.

As Peacock no longer offers a free trial, anyone thinking about giving the streaming service a try needs to sign up for a Premium or Premium Plus subscription, and pay for the first month ahead of time.

That’s what makes this new Peacock Preview experience on Vizio TVs so useful. While it doesn’t unlock access to the entire Peacock library, it does offer access to select episodes of some of Peacock’s most popular titles. All of which are now accessible by opening the WatchFree+ app and heading to the Movies & TV category of the programming guide.

Starting from today, and only for the next three weeks, Vizio TV users can watch select episodes from more than 16 popular Peacock titles, including:

  • A Friend of the Family
  • Bel-Air
  • Below Deck Adventure
  • Below Deck Down Under
  • Below Deck Mediterranean
  • Dr. Death
  • The Real Housewives of Atlanta
  • The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
  • The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip
  • The Traitors
  • Vanderpump Rules

As is often the case with new Vizio apps and services, the company will be highlighting the new Peacock Preview experience on the Vizio Home Screen, offering a quick and easy way to jump right in. However, the same experience can also be accessed manually on channel 196 of the WatchFree+ programming guide.

For any homes that find they would like to sign up to Peacock after sampling the free preview, Vizio has also made it easier to quickly jump between the WatchFree+ environment and the Peacock app. During the Peacock Preview experience, users will see messages and direct links offering the option to continue watching in the Peacock app.

Peacock used to offer its own free tier that made it possible to watch select episodes from the Peacock library before signing up. While that free tier has now gone, this limited-time preview offers a similar solution to those with access to a Vizio smart TV.
