Typical of new Onn device launches, Walmart has now released its latest Google TV player by quietly opening up sales on its website. However, for those looking to pick up the $30 Onn Google TV 4K Plus Streaming Device, it already appears to be out of stock for shipping and delivery.

The new Onn Google TV 4K Plus Streaming Device is designed to appeal to homes looking for a cheap but powerful steaming player.

Compared to the Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box, the new model features a number of upgrades, including a storage boost to 16GB, as well as support for Dolby Vision and Wi-Fi 6.

Onn Google TV 4K Plus Streaming Device Specs:

  • 4K Ultra HD resolution
  • CPU: Quad-core Cortex-A55
  • GPU: G310 V2
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB storage
  • Dolby Vision
  • Dolby Atmos
  • Wi-Fi 6: 2.4/5GHz 802.11ax
  • Voice remote with Google Assistant and TV controls
  • OS: Google TV OS
  • Voice Assistant: Google Assistant

In the box, buyers can expect to find the 4K Plus Streaming Device, a remote control, 2 x AAA batteries, a 1-meter HDMI cable, an AC adapter with cable, an adhesive tape and the quick start guide.

We’ve purchased all of the previous Onn streaming players and while we do think they offer good value for money, they are not without their issues. So, although this is a cheap streaming player in terms of price, it is worth keeping in mind that it is a cheap streaming player in other ways as well.

For those that want to pick one up as soon as possible, we have seen this stock situation occur with previous Onn releases, and it is likely that the new player will be back in stock soon enough.

For reference, the new Onn Google TV 4K Plus Streaming Device is showing as available for store pickup in some locations, so it might be worth checking local store availability if you really want to pick one up today.
