What You Need to Know

  • Tubi’s monthly active users climbed to 110 million, a 14% year‑over‑year increase.
  • The 2026 FIFA World Cup significantly boosted usage, with over 20 million viewers visiting Tubi’s World Cup Hub
  • Viewers streamed more than 13 billion hours over the past year, including a record 3.4 billion hours in Q4 alone.

To put its growth over the past few years into perspective, Tubi first reached 64 million monthly active users in February 2023, with that number climbing to 74 million in September of the same year.

The service then managed to increase its monthly active users to 97 million by the end of 2024, before then exceeding 100 million in June of last year.

With the service now up to 110 million monthly active users, Tubi just continues to grow. Along with more people using the free service in general, engagement has increased too, up 17% year over year.

Tubi continues to differentiate by putting fans first, with unique storytelling and deep collections ranging from romance to adult animation to horror to the world’s biggest sporting events,” said Anjali Sud, CEO of Tubi.

For many streaming services, usage and engagement during the current and previous quarters was fueled by the 2026 World Cup, and Tubi was no different.

According to the company, more than 20 million viewers visited Tubi’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Hub to stream live moments, highlights, and creator-led content.

The World Cup accelerated our momentum and demonstrated the power of Tubi’s platform to expand soccer fandom by providing greater access to the live action and stories surrounding the tournament. That combination of scale, personalization, and deep fan engagement continues to fuel our growth and set Tubi apart in streaming,” added Sud.

Sports aside, the free library of on demand content has continually expanded as well. Tubi now offers close to 400,000 movies and TV episodes, including nearly 400 Tubi Originals.

All of which has helped generate a record quarter of revenue for Tubi, with revenue up 35% year over year.

Over the past year in general, Tubi says viewers streamed more than 13 billion hours on the platform, with the fourth quarter alone generating a record 3.4 billion hours.
