Roku Sports Channel on The Roku Channel

The free Roku Sports Channel is now live and available to watch on The Roku Channel. Roku announced the new FAST channel last week, confirming that it would become home to a wide selection of sports-related programming, including select live sports events.

While Roku already offered access to various live sports and programming, the new channel is designed to be a centralized location, making it easier for users to simply tune in and watch sports.

For example, the 24/7 sports channel will offer live Major League Baseball games with MLB Sunday Leadoff, live Formula E races, and at a later date, NBA G-League games. In addition to sports events exclusive to Roku, a selection of partner content will also be available to watch on the channel, including classic boxing matches, combat sports and high-stakes poker entertainment.

With the channel now live, those with access to The Roku Channel can immediately check out the varied selection of sports programming on offer.

As a reminder, The Roku Channel can be accessed for free on Roku players and smart TVs, as well as through the free Roku app available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Android Mobile, iOS, Google TV, and Samsung TVs. It is also possible to stream the new Roku Sports Channel directly through The Roku Channel website.

Earlier this month, Roku released its latest quarterly earnings report confirming the company ended the second quarter with 83.6 million streaming households (previously active accounts), an increase of two million on the previous quarter
