AMC+ has become one of the first streaming services to increase in price in 2026. The latest price increase has now taken effect for new subscribers and will soon apply to existing subscribers as well.
Key Takeaways
- AMC+ has increased the cost of both ad-supported and ad-free monthly plans by $1.00, bringing them to $7.99 and $10.99 respectively.
- The ad-free annual plan has seen a more significant jump, increasing from $95.88 to $109.99 per year.
- The new rates are already in effect for new subscribers, while existing members will see their price increase next month.
Prior to the latest price increase, the cost of an AMC+ subscription stood at a minimum of $6.99 a month. This was for the ad-supported plan with the ad-free tier costing $9.99 a month.
With a $1 increase affecting both plans, the cost of the with ads plan has now increased to $7.99 a month and the ad-free plan has increased to $10.99 a month.
AMC also offers an annual version of its ad-free AMC+ plan, and this option has also now increased, accordingly. As a result, annual ad-free subscribers now pay $109.99 a year, up from $95.88.
While the price increase has already taken effect for all new subscribers signing up to AMC+, existing subscribers can expect their subscription cost to increase to the same rates on or after March 13, 2026.
Here’s a recap of the new AMC+ pricing for new subscribers (as of February 11) and existing subscribers (starting March 13).
- $7.99 for the monthly with-ads plan, charged monthly
- $10.99 for the monthly premium plan, charged monthly
- $109.99 for the annual premium plan, charged annually
According to AMC, the increase will help AMC+ to continue to deliver originals, series, and movies from AMC, Shudder and Sundance Now.
As the last time AMC+ increased in price was December 2024, existing subscribers have gone through a little over a year without seeing the cost of their subscriptions increase.
The increase also follows increases to AMC Networks’ other services in 2025, including Shudder, which last increased in price in May of last year.
