DirecTV customers can watch MLS Sunday Night Soccer matches for free during the remainder of the 2025 Major League Soccer season – no MLS Season Pass required.

This follows an almost identical move by Comcast earlier this month, which resulted in Xfinity customers gaining access to Sunday Night Soccer at no additional cost.

As DirecTV’s deal includes both residential and commercial customers, all DirecTV customers can now watch these MLS games for free, and regardless of whether at home or a commercial establishment served by DirecTV, including sports bars and restaurants.

With the availability of the free games starting immediately, DirecTV residential and commercial customers are able to tune in this Sunday (June 1) and watch the Seattle Sounders FC host Minnesota United FC (kick-off scheduled for 6 p.m. ET).

DirecTV and Xfinity customers join Apple TV+ subscribers, who have been able to stream Sunday night soccer matches without paying for MLS Season Pass since the start of the current season.

Regardless of whether an Apple TV+, DirecTV or Xfinity customer, a full MLS Season Pass subscription is still required for unlimited access to Major League Soccer, including the ability to watch every MLS game.

For those currently streaming with DirecTV, an MLS Season Pass subscription costs $14.99 a month.

Although DirecTV satellite customers can sign up to MLS Season Pass at $99/season, DirecTV has confirmed that the price will drop on June 8th to $69 for the remainder of this season.

As a result, satellite customers may want to hold off a little longer before adding MLS Season Pass to their live TV package.
