Beginning January 2026, Paramount+ will increase by $1 a month for new and existing subscribers based in the U.S.

The price increase was confirmed during Paramount’s latest quarterly earning report.
“Our ongoing investments in Paramount+ are enhancing the value we deliver to consumers. To support this continued investment, we plan to implement price increases in the US early in the first quarter of 2026,” Paramount said.

Similar to other streaming services, Paramount has increased in price routinely over the past couple of years.
The last increase arrived in August 2024, when the price increased to its current $7.99/mo minimum rate. Prior to the 2024 increase, the cost of a subscription increased in June 2023 (up to $5.99/mo).
Once the 2026 price increase takes effect in January, the minimum cost of a subscription would have nearly doubled since launch, up from $4.99 to $8.99/mo.
