Sony has now officially announced its 2024 Bravia home theater lineup. As has been the case for a few years now, all of the new Bravia smart TVs are powered by Google TV and feature the company’s Sony Pictures Core (formerly Bravia Core) streaming experience, which unlocks access to free movies.

In total there are four different lineups available this year—Bravia 3, Bravia 7, Bravia 8 and Bravia 9—and they range in price from $600 to $5,500.

At the cheaper end of the spectrum is the Bravia 3 lineup. These LED smart TVs are available in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 and and 85-inch sizes. As to be expected, these are the most basic of the new smart TVs and lack many of the main premium features, including the XR Processor. Still, with the price starting at $600, they are a more affordable way to get a smart TV with Sony’s base signature features.

Sony Bravia 3 pricing:

  • 43″: $599.99 USD / $749.99 CA
  • 50″: $699.99 USD / $849.99 CA
  • 55″: $849.99 USD / $999.99 CA
  • 65″: $999.99 USD / $1,299.99 CA
  • 75″: $1,299.99 USD / $1,699.99 CA
  • 85″: $1,799.99 USD / $2,499.99 CA

The Bravia 7 lineup is notable in the fact that the TVs make use of Sony’s proprietary Mini LED processing technology, allowing them to offer higher brightness while also reducing power consumption. The Bravia 7 lineup is available in 55, 65, 75 and 85-inch models.

Sony Bravia 7 pricing:

  • 55″: $1,899.99 USD / $2,299.99 CA
  • 65″: $2,299.99 USD / $2,699.99 CA
  • 75″: $2,799.99 USD / $3,599.99 CA
  • 85″: $3,499.99 USD / $4,699.99 CA

If looking for an OLED TV from Sony, the company’s Bravia 8 line is the one to consider. The Bravia 8 lineup is available in 55, 65, and 75-inch models.

Sony Bravia 8 pricing:

  • 65″: $2,799.99 USD / $3,399.99 CA
  • 55″: $1,999.99 USD / $2,499.99 CA
  • 77″: $3,899.99 USD / $4,899.99 CA

Last, but hardly least, is the Bravia 9 smart TVs. These are designed to be Sony’s flagship models this year and also feature Mini LED technology to improve brightness and power consumption, and to an even better degree than the Bravia 7 models. So much so that Sony is advertising the Bravia 9 as its “brightest 4K TV ever.” The Bravia 9 lineup is available in 65, 75, and 85-inch models.

Sony Bravia 9 pricing:

  • 65″: $3,299.99 USD / $3,999.99 CA
  • 75″: $3,999.99 USD / $4,799.99 CA
  • 85″: $5,499.99 USD / $6.499.99 CA

For those interested in picking one of these new Sony Bravia TVs up, the company has yet to provide full availability details. That said, Sony has confirmed that some models are available to pre-order now.
