For those not quite ready to pay for an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription, YouTube and YouTube TV are once again offering a seven-day free trial to new subscribers. However, the free trial is only available when paying for the full season.

While YouTube offered free trials of Sunday Ticket last year, they were only available during the opening stages of the season. As the season progressed, and the price of Sunday Ticket decreased, the option to try the service eventually disappeared.

With a new season, and subscriptions at full price, the option to test out the service has returned. As the free trial is only available when signing up for the season pass, subscribers through YouTube will automatically be charged the full $479 at the end of the free trial, unless canceled. Likewise, if signing up through YouTube TV, the subscriber will automatically be charged $379 at the end of the free trial, unless canceled.

If totally new to YouTube TV, you can currently sign up at $64.99 a month for the first four months, a saving of $8 each month and $32 over all four months. However, you will still need to pay the full season pass cost of NFL Sunday Ticket up front to get access to the seven-day free trial of Sunday Ticket.

As a reminder, YouTube TV is also offering four months of Max for free when subscribing to Sunday Ticket. With the Max subscription typically billed at $16.99 a month, the promotion results in a saving of $68 over the full four months.
