What You Need to Know

  • Despite recent price hikes, Peacock managed to maintain 48 million paid subscribers during Q3 2026.
  • The service also generated $1.8 billion in revenue and $261 million in EBITDA, marking its second consecutive profitable quarter.
  • Peacock rolled out a number of upgrades during the quarter, including a new mobile game and distribution deals with Starz and YouTube.

This is not the first time that Peacock has seen no change quarter over quarter. Back in Q2 2025, Peacock ended the quarter with 41 million paid subscribers, the same number reported for the quarter before.

In fact, Peacock remained at that number through the third quarter as well. With 41 million reported for Q3 2025, Peacock managed to add around seven million paid subscribers on a year-over-year basis.

Despite no subscriber growth through September 2026, the lack of a decline in subscribers is arguably more important considering Peacock raised the price of its plans by between $1 and $3 a month in August.

In terms of revenue, the streaming service generated $1.8 billion during the third quarter along with $261 million in EBITDA, marking the second consecutive quarter of profitability.

The $261 million also represents an increase on the $189 million reported for the second quarter of 2026, and an increase of $478 million on the third quarter of last year.

According to Comcast, the increase in revenue was primarily due to higher average rates and the overall increase in paid subscribers compared to the previous year.

Peacock rolled out a number of notable updates to the user experience during the most recent quarter including the launch of a new Membership Program in beta and a new Public Eye serialized detective game for mobile.

The service also expanded its distribution partnerships ahead of the start of the third quarter, with subscribers gaining the option to add Starz to their plan, and the ability to sign up to Peacock Premium Plus via YouTube Primetime Channels.
