DirecTV Offering Another MGM+ Free Preview This Weekend

DirecTV is offering DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers a free preview of MGM+ this weekend, making it possible to catch up on all the latest shows and movies. This free preview is also available to U-verse customers as well.

DirecTV routinely offers free previews of premium networks and MGM+ is one of the more common ones. In 2023 alone, DirecTV offered free previews of MGM+ in January, April, and June. In July, DirecTV Stream was also offering three months of MGM+ for free when subscribers added Movies Extra Pack to their live TV package.

The latest MGM+ free preview went live today (Oct. 12) and remains active through Sunday, October 15. During this period, subscribers are able to watch as much MGM+ content as they want, and at no additional cost.

This free preview not only unlocks access to the main MGM+ live channel, but also the MGM+ Hits and MGM+ Marquee channels as well. All of which should now be accessible through the Guide section on the following channels:

MGM+: Ch. 558
MGM+ Hits: Ch. 559
MGM+ Marquee: Ch. 560

In addition to the live content, DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers will find a wide selection of on-demand MGM+ content is now avaialble to stream as well.

For those looking for movies to watch, some of the new releases include A Good Person and The Passenger. On the show side of things, The Winter King is a new 10-episode series on MGM+ and episode 7 is due to air on Sunday, Oct. 15.

For any subscribers that want to retain access to MGM+ after the free preview, the premium network can be added to any DirecTV or DirecTV Stream package for an additional $6 a month.
