DirecTV is offering DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers a free preview of MGM+ this weekend, making it possible to catch up on all the latest shows and movies. This free preview is also available to U-verse customers as well.

DirecTV routinely offers free previews of premium networks and MGM+ is one of the more common ones. In 2023 alone, DirecTV offered free previews of MGM+ in January, April, and June. In July, DirecTV Stream was also offering three months of MGM+ for free when subscribers added Movies Extra Pack to their live TV package.

The latest MGM+ free preview went live today (Oct. 12) and remains active through Sunday, October 15. During this period, subscribers are able to watch as much MGM+ content as they want, and at no additional cost.

This free preview not only unlocks access to the main MGM+ live channel, but also the MGM+ Hits and MGM+ Marquee channels as well. All of which should now be accessible through the Guide section on the following channels:

MGM+: Ch. 558
MGM+ Hits: Ch. 559
MGM+ Marquee: Ch. 560

In addition to the live content, DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers will find a wide selection of on-demand MGM+ content is now avaialble to stream as well.

For those looking for movies to watch, some of the new releases include A Good Person and The Passenger. On the show side of things, The Winter King is a new 10-episode series on MGM+ and episode 7 is due to air on Sunday, Oct. 15.

For any subscribers that want to retain access to MGM+ after the free preview, the premium network can be added to any DirecTV or DirecTV Stream package for an additional $6 a month.

Outside of live TV, John also actively streams HBO Max (for the shows), Peacock (for Premier League), and Paramount Plus (for Champion's League). However, John is also currently subscribed to Apple TV+, Discovery+, Hulu, Starz, Showtime, and Shudder.
