Fubo plans to launch a new Fubo Sports plan in the coming weeks. While details are still light on this genre-based live TV package, it is designed to be a cheaper alternative to the company’s current packages.

Although the exact price is something that’s being kept quiet for now, Fubo did explain in its Q2 2025 shareholder letter today that the plan will be offered at “an attractive price point” in general.

We are dedicated to offering consumers a variety of content options at reasonable prices. This commitment is highlighted by the launch of Fubo Sports, in which we aim to bring to market a focused service at an attractive price point. We expect to launch Fubo Sports in the coming weeks,” the letter said.

At present, Fubo offers two main base packages, Pro and Elite, with the cheapest starting at $84.99 a month. With this pricing in mind, it can be expected that the new Fubo Sports plan will be cheaper than these existing plans.

Fubo had previously confirmed plans to launch a skinny sports package. In January, for example, the company confirmed it was working on a new sports and broadcast service that would feature Disney-owned networks.

Since then, the service has continually agreed new sports deals and expanded others. These include adding the Rangers Sports Network, a dedicated Women’s Sports Zone, and a deal with DAZN for each company to distribute its owned-and-operated linear channel’s on the other’s platform.

Even more recently, Fubo added ESPN+ to all of its plans that already offer access to ESPN, and at no additional cost.

Along with confirming the new plan, Fubo also confirmed it closed out the most recent quarter with 1.356 million paid subscribers. Although down on the previous quarter and year, it was still higher than the subscriber loss Fubo had originally anticipated for the second quarter of 2025.
