Premier League action returns this weekend. The new season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 16 when Manchester United host Fulham. The season then continues through until Sunday, May 25, 2024, when all of the teams in the league play at the same time to decide the final outcome of the table.
If you plan to follow as much of the action as you can during the 2024-25 season, Premier League games are scheduled to be shown across NBCUniversal channels and services in the United States, including NBC, USA Network, and Peacock.
In other words, complete access will require a subscription to a live TV package that includes both NBC and USA Network, as well as a standalone Peacock subscription.
For complete Spanish-language coverage of the 2024-25 Premier League season in the U.S., access to Telemundo, Universo and Peacock will be required.
Peacock Is The Cheapest Option For Many Games
For those willing to be more flexible in terms of when they watch games to save money, Peacock will be home to a good number of Premier League games during the 2024-2025 season.
Following the recent price increase, a Peacock Premium subscription now costs $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year. Likewise, the ad-free Premium Plus tier now costs $13.99 a month, or $139.99 a year.

- NBC & Bravo Shows
As was the case in past years, Peacock won’t be home to every game this season. Instead, many games will be shown live on USA Network and on NBC, requiring a live TV package for access.
Peacock subscribers can watch replays of every game shown live on Peacock and NBC shortly after the livestream ends. Replays of games shown live on USA Network won’t be available to stream on Peacock until the following day.
Watching Premier League Games On NBC And USA
Technically, those signed up to Peacock’s ad-free Premium Plus plan get access to their local NBC station as part of their subscription, offering a low-cost way to watch games shown live on NBC. However, that won’t solve the issue of games shown on USA Network, and you won’t find a live TV plan that offers USA Network without also offering NBC.
The cheapest live TV service offering access to both NBC and USA Network is currently Sling TV. While Sling offers two base package, Sling Blue is the only one that includes both NBC and USA. Sling Blue starts at just $40 a month, and new subscribers can currently get their first month for as low as $20.

NBC is not currently available everywhere in the U.S. through Sling TV, so those considering this service may want to verify whether NBC is available in their local area before signing up.
For those in an area where NBC is not available through Sling TV, the next cheapest option for both NBC and USA is YouTube TV. At $72.99 a month, YouTube TV is considerable more expensive than Sling, but subscribers do get access to a more robust channel lineup, an unlimited DVR and multiview.

Hulu Live TV is currently the next cheapest at $76.99 a month, and includes access to Disney+ and ESPN+. However, as Disney has confirmed that the cost of Hulu Live TV will increase to $82.99 a month in October, subscribers will end up paying an even higher rate for the majority of the 2024/25 season.

DirecTV Stream currently costs a minimum of $79.99 a month and also provides access to both NBC and USA Network. While DirecTV Stream offers multiple plans to choose from, both NBCUniversal channels are included with the cheapest Entertainment plan.

Lastly, there’s Fubo. Even though Fubo’s plans also start at $79.99 a month, Fubo applies a regional sports fee in many locations. Depending on the location, this additional RSN fee may increase the cost by as much as $16 a month.

Again, regardless of which of these live TV services you sign up to, access to some games will still require a Peacock subscription, adding a minimum of $7.99 to the monthly cost of watching Premier League games in the U.S.
